Founded in 1921 and headquartered in Paris, FITASC is the world governing body for hunting-style shotgun shooting sports. It writes and maintains the official rule book for Compak Sporting, sanctions World and Continental Championships, and recognises one national federation per country.
As the FITASC-affiliated body in South Africa, Compak SA runs all national events under FITASC rules, issues classifications recognised internationally, and selects and enters South African shooters for FITASC World and African Championships.
Affiliation gives our members a direct pathway from club shoots through to the international stage, with consistent rules, scoring and target presentations from the first registered event to a World Championship final.
